Beyoncé's new album 'Cowboy Carter' is the Biggest Album in the World this week and rockets straight to #1 on the United World chart after reaching #1 in 18 countries!

Beyoncé becomes the first black woman in history to top the United World chart with a country album! 'Cowboy Carter' met with universal acclaim upon its release, boosted the listenership of Black country artists and country radio in general, and increased the popularity of Western wear andculture globally! 'Cowboy Carter' landed Beyoncé her biggest streaming week ever, breaking streaming records on several platforms. It became the most-streamed album in a single day in 2024 on Spotify with over 76 million streams globally, making it the 6th highest first-day stream debut for any female album and the highest for any album by a black woman. The album also marks the most first-day streams for a country album by a female artist in the history of Amazon Music! 

'Cowboy Carter' debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200, with 407,000 album-equivalent units, with Beyoncé becoming the first woman to debut their first 8 albums at No. 1. 'Cowboy Carter' also debuted at No. 1 on the Top Country Albums chart, making Beyoncé the first Black woman to have a No. 1 country album, and also topped the Americana/Folk Albums and Top Album Sales charts. All 23 songs on Cowboy Carter debuted on the Billboard Hot 100, with "Texas Hold 'Em" making history, becoming the 1st country song by a black woman to top the Billboard Hot 100 and Hot Country Songs charts.

The album debuted at No. 1 on the Official UK Albums Chart selling 40,000 copies in its 1st week, Beyoncé's 5th chart topper as a solo act, and her 6th overall. The album also debuted at #1 on the Official UK Vinyl Albums Chart. "Texas Hold 'Em" also returned to #1 for a 5th week, marking her longest #1 Single in the UK and her 2nd time to top the UK Singles & Albums Chart simultaneously since her debut with 'Dangerously in Love', and "Crazy in Love" in 2003. Beyoncé also became the first black artist to top the UK Charts with a country album and the first to simultaneously top the Album Chart and Singles Charts with a country album and a country single ("Texas Hold 'Em”).

In Australia, the album debuted atop the ARIA Albums Chart, becoming the singer's 4th consecutive album to do so since 'Beyoncé' (2013). It also became the first country album by a female artist to top the chart since Shania Twain's 'Now' in 2017. 'Cowboy Carter' has also hit #1 in Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Scotland, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland! It has reached #4 so far in Lithuania & Slovak, #5 in Czech Republic, #6 in Italy and #11 in Finland.

Korean Superstar Group NCT DREAM lands at #2 on the United World Chart with their 6th EP 'Dream()scape' after debuting at #1 on the Circle chart in Korea! 

NCT DREAM's 6th EP 'Dream()scape', consisting of 6 tracks, including the lead single, "Smoothie", has landed at #2 on the United World chart after debuting at #1 on the Circle Album chart in Korea and #7 on the Oricon chart in Japan! The album scored the Top New Entry on the WorldwideiTunes Album chart, landing at #6 after going to #1 on iTunes in 12+ countries upon its release and selling 1,329,701 units on HANTEO on its first day, scoring the group's top first-day sales and 2nd highest for a SM Entertainment's album!
