This week 渡辺美優紀(NMB48)'s new album, 'Namba Ai (Ima, Omou, Koto)' debuts
at No. 1 on the Oricon chart in Japan and is also the No. 1 best-selling
Album globally, with 159,000 sales, according to Oricon. NMB48 is a
Japanese idol girl group that debuted in 2011 as the second sister group
to AKB48, produced by Yasushi Akimoto. The name "NMB" comes from "Namba"
in the Minami district in Osaka.



At No. 2 this week on the World Chart is Ed Sheeran's 'Divide' with 104k
sales more and a total of 6.804.000 copies since its release in March,
making it the best-selling Album of 2017 so far!



The second new hot debut Album on this week's Global Top 10 best-selling
Albums chart, compiled by Fred Chuchel, is 'Tycoon, the 9th studio album
by the Japanese fusion band UVERworld which enters the chart at no.3
with 90,000 sales (according to Oricon).



Imagine Dragons's 'Evolve' moves up 2 spots to No. 4 this week with
sales of 70,000 and a total of 739,000 copies since its release 7 weeks
ago!



'Verse 2', the first EP by the South Korean duo JJProject (Official),
part of the boy group GOT7, debuts at no.5 with 70,000 sales (according
to Hanteo and Oricon).



Kendrick Lamar's 'Damn' moves up one with with 68,000 sales and
2,690,000 and is the second best-selling Album of 2017.



Former chart topper, EXO's 'The War (Korean & Mandarin Version', slips
from 3 to 7 this week with sales of 67.000 for a total of 774,000.



Lana Del Rey's 'Lust For Life' sells another 60,000 and a total of
329,000 so far.



Former No. 1, Arcade Fire's 'Everything Now', sells 53.000 this week
globally and a total of 294,000.



DJ Khaled closes the Global Top 10 with Grateful' and sales of 51,000,
with a total of 601,000 so far!




Luis Fonsi's "Despacito" with Daddy Yankee including the Justin Bieber
Remix reigns atop the Global Track Chart for an amazing 15th week!



DJ Khaled's "Wild Thoughts" ft. Rihanna & Bryson Tiller holds at No. 2
for an 8th straight week!



Calvin Harris's "Feels" ft. Katy Perry, Pharrell Williams & BIG SEAN
holds at No. 3.



Charlie Puth's "Attention" remains at No.4 for a 4th week while
French Montana's "Unforgettable" ft. Swae Lee Lee moves up one to No. 5.



Ed Sheeran's "Shape Of You" slips one to No. 6 after topping the global
chart for 16 straight weeks earlier this year.



Shawn Mendes's "There's Nothing Holding Me Back" holds at No. 7.



Liam Payne's "Strip That Down" ft Quavo moves up one to No. 8.

Arcade Fire's 'Everything Now', the Canadian indie rock band's 5th Album
is the world's second best-selling of the week with 241,000 equivalent
sales (217,000 digital / physical album sales and the rest streaming).
52,000 of these equivalent sales were in Canada according to Nielsen
Soundscan, 100,000 were in the US, and 36,000 were in the UK. The band's
former album, 'Reflektor', was the World's top selling Album week 46,
2013 with 278,000 pure album sales.


EXO's 'The War', last week's best-selling Album, is the 3rd top selling
Album this week with equivalent sales of 223,000!


Ed Sheeran's 'Divide' sells another 109,000 in equivalent sales and a
total of 6.7 Million!


Lana Del Rey's 'Lust for Life' is the 5th top selling Albul of the past
week with equivalent sales of 75,000 and a total of 269,000!


Imagine Dragons 'Evolve' is No. 6 after selling another 74,000 in
equivalent sales, and a total of 660,000 globally since its release.


Kendrick Lamar's 'Damn.' is the 7th best-selling Album of the week with
70.000 in equivalent sales this week and a total of 2.622.000. It's the
N1 top selling Album in America of 2017!


Linkin Park's 'One More Light' is the No. 8 best seller, with sales of
67,000 and a total of 652,000 globally in 2017.


DJ Khaled's 'Grateful' slips 3 spots to No. 9 with equivalent sales of
56,000 and a total of 550,000 so far!


Alice Cooper 's 27th studio LP debuts at No. 10 with 'Paranormal' and
50,000 consumption sales!

"Despacito" reigns atop the Global Track Chart and in many countries
around the world. It is the only other Single apart from Ed Sheeran's
'Shape Of You' to have topped the Global Track Chart in the last 6
months, a historic record. 'Shape Of You'is now the 10th best-selling
Single of all time.

But the largest gainer this week is J Balvin's "Mi Gente" ft. Willy

Korean Band EXO are on top of the world as their 4th studio album 'The
War' rockets to No.1 on the Global Album Chart with massive equivalent
sales of 476,000. 446,000 of these global sales were from South Korea
alone (according to Hanteo)! 'The War' received the highest number of
pre-orders of all time for a K-pop album, with over 800,000 physical
sales (shipments) making it the best-selling Album ever in Korea its
first week!


Keyakizaka 46's debut Album 'Masshiro Na Mono Wa Yogoshitaku Naru' is
2nd to Exo's 'The War' with 287,000 sales (according to Oricon).


The most successful international release of the week is Lana Del Rey's
'Lust For Life', her 5th studio album. which debuts at no.3 with 194,000
consumption units.


Tyler the Creator's 'Flower Boy' is the 4th best-selling Album this week
with equivalent sales of 131,000.


Three LP's of the legendary band Linkin Park return to the Global Top
10. 'One More Light', released in May 2017, reenters at no.5 with sales
of 126,000. The bands most successful album, 'Hybrid Theory' from 2000,
is no.8 with sales of 89,000 this week and a total of approximately 19
million so far! 'Meteora' lands at no.9 with 78,000 sales this week, and
about 12 million sales since its release in 2003!


Ed Sheeran's 'Divide', last week's best-selling Album globally, is this
week's 6th best-selling Album with sales of 113,000 and a total of
6.591.000 since its release in March.


Meek Mill's 'Wins & Losses' debuts this week with sales of 111.000 in
7th position!


Closing this week's Top 10 best-selling Albums Rank is Imagine Dragons
'Evolve' having shifted 73,000 and a total of 595,000 since its release!
