The Worlds top 5 best-selling Singles are the same as last week with an 8th non consecutive week at no.1 for Justin Timberlake's 'Can't Stop The Feeling'. 


Drake's 'One Dance' stays at no.2 with 'This Is What You Came For' by Calvin Harris feat. Rihanna still at no.3 . 

'This Girl' by French DJ and producer Kungs and Australian funk trio Cookin' On 3 Burners enters the Global Top 10 for the first time a. The 'good-feelings no. 8! The song was no.1 in France, Germany and Belgium, no.2 in UK and Austria and no.3 in the Netherlands and Ireland. 

'7 Years' by Lukas Graham slips to no.18 this week.

The seventh studio album by American rock band Blink 182 debuts at No. 1 on the World's best-selling Albums Chart with global sales of 262,000, 171,900 of it in the US alone, 21,000 in the UK, nearly 20,000 in Germany, 13,600 in Canada and 9,900 in Australia. The Band's last studio-effort, 'Neighbourhoods', sold 235,000 units its 1st week and debuted at no.2 globally in 2011. It's the first album by the band to feature vocalist/guitarist Matt Skiba, who replaced former member Tom DeLounge. 

Last week's no.1, 'I Scream' by Kis-My-Ft2, slips to no.34 this week selling just16,000 units (last week 244,000). 

'The Getaway' by the Red Hot Chili Peppers also debuted at no. 1 with sales of 342,000 sales. The LP remains at no. 2 for a second week after selling another 89,000 copies for a total of 548,000 in just three weeks. 

Adele's '25' returns to no.3, driven by the new single-smash 'Send My Love (To Your New Lover)', this week at no.6 global. The album moved another 68,000 units last week and a total of 18,536,000 since its release in November after 33 weeks on the chart. 

The 2nd highest debut of the week is 'Blacksummer's Night' by American R&B star Maxwell. It`s at no.6 after selling 64,000 copies. The album is Maxwell's first record in seven years, following his 2009's effort with the same title, which was the first in a planned trilogy. 

Korean Singer TaeYeon 태연 debuts at no. 7 with 'Why' after selling 59,000 copies. It's the 2nd LP for the former member of 소녀시대(Girls' Generation)

Taylor Swift's '1989' sells another 11,000 copies for a total of 9,588,000.

'21' by Adele sells another 16,000 copies for a grand total of 28,120,000.

'Anti' by Rihanna sells 22,000 for a total of 1,135,000.

'Blurryface' by twenty one pilots sells another 36,000 for a total of 1,444,000. 

'Dangerous Woman' by Ariana Grande sells another 32,000 for a total of 559,000.

'Get Weird' by Little Mix sells another 5,000 for a total of 776,000. 

'I Still Do' by Eric Clapton sells another 18,000 for a total of 292,000. 

'Immortalized' by Disturbed sells 15,000 for a total of 794,000. 

'Purpose' by Justin Bieber sells another 25,000 for a total of 4,782,000.

'7/27' by Fifth Harmony sells 18,000 for a total of 210,000.

'Thank You' by Meghan Trainor sells another 21,000 for a total of 331,000.

'This Is Acting' by Sia sells another 19,000 for a total of 797,000 and 'X' by Ed Sheeran sells a16,000 for a total of 8,407,000.




Justin Bieber's 'Love Yourself', written by Ed Sheeran is the World's Best-selling Song of the first 6 months of 2016!

"Love Yourself" is a song recorded by Canadian singer Justin Bieber for his fourth studio album Purpose (2015). The song was released first as a promotional single on November 9, 2015, and later was released as the album's third single. It was written by Ed Sheeran, Benny Blanco and Bieber, and produced by Blanco.

"Love Yourself" achieved international commercial success, reaching number one in fifteen countries. On the US Billboard Hot 100 and the UK Singles Chart, the song became Bieber's third consecutive number-one, where in the United States it spent 24 nonconsecutive weeks in the top-ten and was also Justin Bieber's first number one on the Adult Contemporary chart, while in the United Kingdom it spent six weeks at the top. "Love Yourself" also topped the charts in Australia, Canada, Denmark, Ireland, the Netherlands, New Zealand, and Sweden.

Adele's '25' is the best Selling Album of 2016 from January 1st to August 31st 2016.


Even though Adele's third studio Album, '25', came out on November 20, 2015, it is still the World's best-selling Album of 2016 having sold another 3.971.000 copies since the beginning of the year!


'25' debuted at No.1 in over 25 markets, breaking first-week sales records in multiple countries, including the United Kingdom and United States; in the US, the album sold 3.38 million copies in its first week of release, marking the largest single-week sales for an album since Nielsen SoundScan began tracking point-of-sale music purchases in 1991. '25' eventually became the world's best-selling album of 2015 after selling 14,970,000 copies globally and has sold a total of 18,941,000 million copies as of September 2016. Many journalists felt that the album impacted the music industry by encouraging the public to return to buying physical albums, instead of downloading or streaming.

 

Beyonce's 'Lemonade' is the 2nd best-selling Album of 2016 shifting 2,377,000 copies globally since its release on April 23, 2016. Drake's 'Views' is the 3rd best-selling Album of 2016 with sales of 2,306,000 as of August 31st.

Kis-My-Ft2's fifth studio album 'I Scream' is top of the Global Album chart this week after selling 243,871 copies according to Oricon. The band's former LP 'Kis-My-World' also topped the global chart in the week 29, 2015 selling 300,205 copies.

Red Hot Chili Peppers' new LP 'The Getaway' slips to no.2 with after selling another 117,000 units, a total of 459,000 in two weeks.

The Second highest debut comes from the American folk-rock band The Avett Brothers. Their ninth full-length studio album 'True Sadness' opens at no.9 with sales of 45,000 (43,200 in the USA and another 1,400 in Canada).
Close behind at no.10 is French hip-hop artist Jul with his new album 'Émotions' after selling 43,000 in France and Belgium.
