Exo's new Album 'Exodus' is the no.1 top selling Album in the world. It is a Chinese-South Korean collaboration with the boy group Exo now consisting of 10 members instead of the original 12. The band is separated in two subgroups, Exo-K and Exo-M, performing in Korean and Mandarin, respectively. That's why their release is available in two versions (Korean and Mandarin). 'Exodus' debuts with huge sales especially in South Korea, where both versions sold 270.000 copies in their initial week. Another 22.000 units were sold in Japan, and 6.000 copies were sold in America! Globally the LP sold a total of 303.000 copies, just 3,000 more than the new Album by the legendary Japanese pop/rock band Southern All Stars. 'Budo', their first original album in 10 years, tops the national chart in Japan with 300.000 copies sold, according to Oricon.

The Prodigy have been credited as pioneers of the Big Beat genre in the Ninetees, a fusion of rock and techno. Boosted by Easter sales, many albums on the current Top 20 had sales increases this week, but the biggest winner is the soundtrack to the new sequel of the American action film 'The Fast And The Furious'. In its third week on the charts, it jumps from no.39 to no.17, driven by a massive 223% sales growth of 58.000 copies.

James Bay's Album 'Chaos And The Calm' is at no.3 this week after selling 131.000 copies globally, 61.900 of those in the UK, 20.100 in the USA and around 15.000 in Germany.
Sam Smith's 'In The Lonely Hour' rises from no.8 to no.4, having sold 87.000 copies this week and a grand total of 4.609.000.
The third-highest debut after Exile and James Bay is the 31 year-old American rapper Action Bronson. His third album 'Mr. Wonderful' arrives at no.10 with sales of 55.000.
'Uptown Funk!' by Mark Ronson feat. Bruno Mars is no.1 for a 14th week! For a time it seemed that Ellie Goulding's 'Love Me Like You Do' could overtake Ronson's mega hit. But now the gap between the two smashes has widened. The Japanese girl group AKB 48 managed to overtake the global sales tally of "Uptown Funk' the week ending March 14 when "Green Flash" debuted at no.1 in Japan selling a million copies.
The highest debut this week comes from girl idol Band, Nogizaka 46. Their 11th single release 'Inochi Wa Utsukushii' races to no.3 on the global charts. According to Oricon the song sold around half a million units in its first week at retail, and it's the best selling single of the girlie band so far.
