The new Disney Soundtrack, 'Encanto', rules the United World Album Chart at #1 for a 3rd week, selling another 154,000 equivalent album units, and is #1 on the year-to-date chart, having sold 1,065,000 units in 2022 so far, and 1,156,000 in total since its release on November 19, 2021! The album contains eight original songs written by Lin-Manuel Miranda and produced by Mike Elizondo, and has been released in 44 languages as well as English and Spanish. 'Encanto' is a huge commercial success, the 6th animated film Soundtrack in history to reach #1 in the US, topping the Billboard 200 chart for 6 whole weeks so far, and has been certified Gold for 500,000 units. It also reached #1 in Canada, New Zealand, and #1 on the United Kingdom Compilation chart, where it has been certified Gold for 100,000 sales units! It's reached #2 in Australia, #4 in the Netherlands, #5 in Belgium (wallonia), Norway & Spain, #6 in Austria, #8 in Belgium (Flanders) & Germany, #9 in Denmark and #10 in Switzerland. 'Encanto' is the 1st Disney animated film to chart all its songs on the Billboard Hot 100 and multiple tracks on the Official UK Top 10! "We Don't Talk About Bruno" is the album's best-selling track, having topped the US Billboard Hot 100 chart and the Official UK chart, while "Surface Pressure" has peaked at #4 in the UK and #8 in the US. "We Don't Talk About Bruno" is the 2nd #1 song for Disney in the US after "A Whole New World" from Aladdin in 1992.

Adele's '30' rebounds 3-2 on the United World Chart, selling another 79,000 units and 4,384,000 so far!

Ed Sheeran's 'Equals' rebounds 8-3 in its 16th week on the United World Chart, selling another 79,000 equivalent sales and 2,238,000 so far!

The Weeknd's new album 'Dawn FM' slips 2-4 in its 6th week on the United World Chart, selling another 75,000 equivalent sales units and 766,000 so far!

Olivia Rodrigo's former chart-topping album 'SOUR' holds at #5, selling another 72,000 and a total of 4,606,000 so far while

Gunna's 'DS4Ever' slips 4-6, selling another 70,000 equivalent album units and a total of 635,000 so far!

Doja Cat's 'Planet Her' holds at #7 in its 27th week on the United World Chart, selling another 68,000 equivalent sales units and 2,586,000 so far.

Drake's record-breaking album 'Certified Lover Boy' rebounds 9-8 on the United World chart, selling another 59,000 equivalent album units and 3,170,000 so far, while Taylor Swift's 'Red (Taylor's Version) reenters the Top 10 at 9 after selling another 54,000 equivalent units and a total of 1.986.000 since its release on November 12, 2021.

Dr Dre's 'The Chronic 2001' reenters the United World Chart Top 10 at #10, after selling another 49,000 equivalent units this past week and 11 Million albums intotal since its release in November 16, 1999!

17 year old Nashville-based singer/songwriter GAYLE who is of Scottish descent, is #1 on the United World Chart for a 5th week with her global smash hit "abcdefu", scoring another 264,000 points, including 147,000 from streaming (up 3%), 29,000 from sales and 88,000 from airplay (up 5%), the most played song globally!

"abcdefu" ended the 13-week no.1 run of Adele's 'Easy On Me', lifting to #1 in its 10th week on the United World chart! The song is Gayle’s debut single, released on August 13, 2021, via Atlantic and Arthouse Records, and was co-written by Gayle with Sara Davis and David Pittenger, and produced by Pete Nappi: "the song "came from a place of trying so hard to be the nice, respectful ex-girlfriend, to the point where it was negatively affecting me" Gayle told Tongue Tied Mag, explaining the inspiration behind the song: "After the breakup, I was trying really, really hard to be a nice person—like, overcompensating for it—like, the week after we broke up, I called him and was, like, 'Hey, bud!' and 'What's up, my friend?!'". On March 31, 2021, Gayle revealed on Instagram that she had dislocated her middle finger, and the X-ray scan from the hospital ended up becoming the single's cover art!

"abcdefu" was a viral hit on TikTok and Instagram, and by December 2021, it had surpassed 100 million global streams! The singer has since released different versions of the song, including the demo, a "chill version", and an "angrier version". "abcdefu" has peaked at #3 this week on the Billboard Hot 100, and holds at #1 on the Global Excl. US for an 8th week, and at #2 on the Billboard Global 200 after topping the chart for 4 weeks! The viral hit reached #1 in the UK in January, in its 9th week on the Official chart, and has also topped the weekly charts in Austria, Belgium (Wallonia), Finland, Germany, Ireland, Israel, Latvia, Malaysia, Norway, Sweden & Switzerland.
