Adele opens the year on top of the world as her smash hit, "Easy On Me" returns to #1 on the United World Chart for a 10th non consecutive week atop, earning another 278,000 points!!

Adele's 'Easy On Me' returns to no.1 for a 10th non-consecutive week with 278,000 points! Released on October 15, via Columbia Records as the lead single from her record-breaking 4th studio album '30', "Easy on Me" is the Superstar's first track in nearly 5 years! The song was written by Adele and American record producer Greg Kurstin, who also produced the song, and explores themes of nostalgia, regret, and forgiveness. Adele asks her son, Angelo, to be kind to her as she struggles after her broken marriage. Music critics praised the poignant lyrics and emotional vocals. Upon release, "Easy on Me" broke the all-time record for the most streamed song in a single day on Spotify with 24 million global streams, and the all-time record for most streams in a single week with 84.9 million! It additionally broke two Amazon Music records for the most 1st-day streams globally, and the most 1st-day Alexa requests for any song in the platform's history! "All I Want for Christmas Is You" was released on October 29, 1994 as the lead single from Mariah's 4th studio album and 1st holiday album, 'Merry Christmas' (1994). Written and produced by Carey, and Walter Afanasieff, the song quickly became a huge global success, topping the charts in 26 countries. Wham!’s "Last Christmas" dips 5-6 on the United World chart, scoring another 211,000 points in its 56th week on the chart. The song is #2 on the Billboard Global 200 and the Global Excl. US and is #7 on the US Hot 100.


Ed Sheeran’s "Shivers" holds at #7 on this week's United World Chart, scoring another 185,000 points in its 16th week on the list. The song is #9 on the Global Excl. US and dips 11-12 on this week's US Hot 100!


Nigerian Superstar CKays "Love Nwantiti" holds at #8 on the United World Chart, after peaking at 2, scoring another 179,000 points in its 15th week on the list! The song is #25 on the Billboard Global 200 after reaching #2, and is #52 on the Billboard Hot 100 this week, after peaking at #31!
