Adele's "Easy On Me" scores a 5th consecutive week at #1 on the United World Chart with 335,000 points and 1,973,000 in total so far! 180,000 points were generated by streaming and 40,000 points by sales. The song tops the Global Airplay Chart for a 3rd week with 115,000 points (up 5%). Released on October 15, via Columbia Records as the lead single from her hugely anticipated 4th studio album, '30', "Easy on Me" is the Superstar's first track in nearly 5 years! The song was written by Adele and American record producer Greg Kurstin, who also produced the song, and explores themes of nostalgia, regret, and forgiveness. Adele asks her son, Angelo, to be kind to her as she struggles after her broken marriage. Music critics praised the poignant lyrics and emotional vocals. Commercially, the song garnered the Spotify and Amazon Music records for the most streams for a song in a day and week, and topped the weekly charts in 25 countries including the US where it held atop the Hot 100 for 4 consecutive weeks. The song also topped the Billboard Global 200 and the Global Excl. US for 4 consecutive weeks!
