Cardi B's 'Invasion Of Privacy' is the World's Best-selling Album!

Cardi B debuts atop the Global Album Chart with her 1st Solo Album 'Invasion Of Privacy' and 301,000 equivalent sales. 'Invasion of Privacy was certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America on the day of its release and debuted at N°1 this week on the Billboard 200 in America, moving 255,000 album-equivalent units, with 103,000 coming from pure sales. On the Billboard Hot 100 chart, Cardi B charted 13 entries, passing Beyoncé for the most simultaneous titles on the ranking by a solo female! On April 13, 2018, Apple Music announced that 'Invasion of Privacy' had set a record for the most streamed album by a female artist in a single week with 100 million streams! 'Invasion of Privacy' also entered at N°1 on the Canadian Albums chart in its first week, moving 12,000 album-equivalent units. The Album sold 11,400 copies in its 1st week in the United Kingdom according to the Official charts and 2,900 units in Australia according to ARIA. The LP is powered by Cardi's huge hit 'Bodak Yellow (Money Moves)' and also features "Bartier Cardi" with 21 Savage, "Be Careful", and "Drip" with Migos. Cardi B was born Belcalis Almanzar, and is half Dominican by her father and half Trinidadian by her mother. She was brought up in the Bronx, and became a stripper to escape poverty before becoming an Internet celebrity appearing on VH1 with several of her videos going viral. In February 2017, she signed her first major label record deal with Atlantic Records after releasing two mixtapes. Her debut single for Atlantic, titled "Bodak Yellow", reached N°1 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart, making her the second-ever female Rapper to top the chart with her very 1st Single, following Lauryn Hill in 1998.Time Magazine named Cardi B one of the 100 most influential people in the world on this year's list!
