'Drag Me Down' by one direction, from their upcoming fifth album, shoots straight to the top of the single charts with their first worlds no.1!!!

After three no.1's and four million-seller on the Global Album Chart, it's finally time for One Direction's first number one smash on the Global Track Chart. 'Drag Me Down', the first sign from their upcoming fifth album, shoots straight ahead of the tally with massive 428.000 points. The band's most succesful song so far was 'Story Of My Life', which reached no.5 in January 2014 and got a total of 4.571.000 points. 'Drag Me Down' blocked Felix Jaehn's remix of Omi's 'Cheerleader' another week from the top. The song remains at the vice position with 280.000 points and enters the ALL TIME CHART at no.370 this week with a total of 6.040.000 points. 'Uptown Funk' by Mark Ronson feat. Bruno Mars makes another interesting move on the All Time Chart: the song overtakes Coolio's 'Gangsta's Paradise' (1995) and rises up in the Top 10 there with a total of massive 12.997.000 points. Next week it'll be overtake Black Eyed Peas' 'I Gotta Feeling' (2009) and then 'Uptown Funk' is the second most successful song of the 21st century so far, behind Pharrell Williams' 'Happy' from 2014 with its magnificent 14.844.000 points. Back to the current weekly hitlist: The Weeknd's 'Can't Feel My Face' is still at no.3 with 254.000 points and for the first time in the Top 10 is the 17 year-old American rapper Ricky Lamar Hawk, better known by his stage name Silentó. His 'Watch Me (Whip/NaeNae)' with the remarkable dance video climbs from no.13 to no.9, driven by a 9% points increase to 144.000. Outside our weekly Top 40 waiting among other Nicky Jam feat. Enrique Iglesias' 'El Perdón' at no.45, Fall Out Boy's 'Uma Thurman' at no.47 and Adam Lambert's 'Ghost Town' at no.50, for their first appearance on the big list.
