'My Dear Melancholy,' is the World's best-selling Album!

The Weeknd's brand new EP, 'My Dear Melancholy,' debuts at N°1 this week atop the Global Album chart. The six-track EP scored 169,000 equivalent this 1st week, 169,000 in the US, 19,000 in Canada (according to Nielsen Soundscan / Billboard), and 16,000 in the UK (according to the Official charts). 

 

Last week's N°1, Wanna One's 'I Promise You' slips to no.2 after 2 weeks atop the chart, selling another 147,000 sales and a total of 731,000. 

 

Former N°1 Album for whole 3 weeks, The Greatest ShowmanSoundtrack holds at N°3 after selling another 133.000 this week and a total of 2.350.000 since its release 15 weeks ago!

 

At N°4 is XXXTENTACION 'Bad Vibes Forever' which sells 93.000 this week and a total of 406.000 and at n°5 is Ed Sheeran's 'Divide' after selling 89.000 equivalent sales this week and a total of 11.358.000 since its release 57 weeks ago.

 

New entry at N°6 for Rich the Kid's debut Album, ''The World Is Yours' which debuts with 80,000 sales and at N°7 'Sakana Zukan' by Japanese rock band Sakanaction debuts with 79,000 sales. 

 

Maître GIMS' 'Ceinture Noire' slips 2 spots to N°8 in its second week on the chart, after selling another 70.000 equivalent sales and a total of 163.000 so far.

 

The Black Panther Soundtrack Album which topped the global Album chart for 2 weeks, holds at N°9 with 66.000 equivalent sales this week and a total of 931.000 so far, and closing this week's Top 10 is Migos 'Culture II' with 59.000 equivalent sales this week and 954.000 since its release 8 weeks ago!
