The new Disney Soundtrack, 'Encanto', lifts 2-1 on this week's United World Album Chart, selling another 167,000 equivalent album units, and is the new number one on the year-to-date chart, having sold 575,000 units in 2022, and 666,000 in total since its release on November 19, 2021!

The new Disney Soundtrack, 'Encanto', lifts 2-1 on this week's United World Album Chart, selling another 167,000 equivalent album units, and is the new number one on the year-to-date chart, having sold 575,000 units in 2022, and 666,000 in total since its release on November 19, 2021! The album contains eight original songs written by Lin-Manuel Miranda and produced by Mike Elizondo, and has been released in 44 languages as well as English and Spanish. The soundtrack album is a huge commercial success, the 6th animated film Soundtrack in history to reach #1 in the US, topping the Billboard 200 chart for 3 whole weeks so far. It has also reached #1 in Canada, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom, where it has been certified silver for 60,000 sales units, and it's a top 10 hit in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, the Netherlands, Norway and Spain. "We Don't Talk About Bruno" is the album's best-selling track, having topped the UK Singles and US Billboard Hot 100 charts, while "Surface Pressure" has peaked at #4 in the UK and #9 in the US. 'Encanto' is the 1st Disney animated film to generate multiple top-10 songs on the Hot 100! "We Don't Talk About Bruno" is the 2nd #1 song for Disney in the US after "A Whole New World" from Aladdin in 1992.


The Weeknd's new album 'Dawn FM' rebounds 4-2 on the United World Chart, selling another 98,000 equivalent sales units, and 466,000 so far!


Gunna's 'DS4Ever' holds at 3, selling another 98,000 equivalent album units and a total of 411,000 so far, while Adele's '30' rebounds 5-4 on the United World Chart, selling another 94,000 units and 4,140,000 so far!


New entry at #5 on the United World Chart for NBA YoungBoy's new album 'Colors' with 86,000 units sold in its 1st week, while Ed Sheeran's 'Equals' holds at #6, selling another 73,000 equivalent sales and 2,022,000 so far!


Olivia Rodrigo's top-selling album 'SOUR' rebounds 8-7, selling another 68,000 eaus and 4,393,000 so far, while Doja Cat's 'Planet Her' rebounds 9-8, selling another 68,000 equivalent sales units and 2,379,000 so far.


New entry at #9 for Japanese Legend, Kimura Takyua's new album 'Next Destination' after selling 64,000 in its 1st week, while Taylor Swift holds at #10, selling another 59,000 equivalent units in its 11th week on the chart, and 1,822,000 so far, Excl. China.
