Posted on June 13, 2021

It's an extremely rare feat for an Artist to top both the United World Song & Album chart simultaneously but Olivia Rodrigo is crushing it on all sides! The hugely talented Singer/songwriter has been top of the Global Digital Artist Rank since May 21, and is currently the Queen of Spotify and Apple Music, reigning at #1 on the Global Spotify Chart, and the Worldwide & European Apple Music Song & Album Charts. "SOUR“ scored the biggest 2nd week of streams in Spotify history with over 322 MILLION streams, surpassing Drake who held the previous record with "Scorpion“! "good 4 u" lifts 2-1 in its 3rd week on the United World Chart with 442,000 points after scoring the largest points increase last week! "good 4 u" was released on May 14, 2021 via Geffen and Interscope Records, as the 3rd single from Olivia's debut studio album 'SOUR', which was released on May 21, 2021. The song was written by Rodrigo and producer Dan Nigro and addresses a former lover who moved on too soon after their breakup. Music critics praised the instrumentation nostalgic of the 1990s–2000s and Rodrigo's songwriting. The accompanying music video, directed by Petra Collins, shows Rodrigo as a cheerleader who seeks revenge, destroying her ex boyfriend's bedroom and burning his belongings, and references the horror movies Audition (1999) and Jennifer's Body (2009). The fire is a nod to Taylor Swift's "Picture to Burn" (2008). 'good 4 u" debuted atop the Billboard Hot 100, giving Rodrigo her 2nd number-one song in the country, following her 8-week chart-topper "Drivers License".
