Olivia Rodrigo's "Driver's License" rockets to #1 on the United World Chart with 405,000 points!

Olivia Rodrigo's "Drivers License" has rocketed to #1 on the United World Chart with 405,000 points, after breaking a string of records, including the Spotify record for the most single-day streams for a non-holiday song with over 17 million global Spotify streams on January 12! The Song also set a new record for most streams on Spotify in a single week with 65.873.080! "Driver's License" broke the record for the most requested song ever in one day and biggest 1st week streaming debut ever globally on Amazon Music! "Driver's License" marked the highest weekly streaming total in the world for a song by a female artist, with 130,060,000 streams, surpassing Mariah Carey's tally of 130,042,000 for "All I Want for Christmas Is You”.
Olivia's debut single was released on January 8, 2021, via Interscope Records and Geffen Records, as the lead single from her hugely awaited upcoming debut EP. Rodrigo personally penned the lyrics to "Driver's License" which are about her own personal feelings after a breakup, and the song was produced by Dan Nigro. Music critics, praised the lyrics, vocals and production. In the US, the song sold over 16,000 digital downloads in its first 3 days with over 21 million streams and has just been certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America for sales of 500,000.
