Rap Superstar Kanye West's 'Jesus Is King' is the world's best-selling album of the week with equivalent sales of 343,000!

Rap Superstar Kanye West tops the global Album chart with his 9th studio album, the gospel LP 'Jesus Is King' after selling 343,000 equivalent sales in its 1st week, 264,000 of which were in the United States (according to Billboard / Nielsen Soundscan), 19,000 in United Kingdom according to OCC), 16,000 in Canada (Billboard), and 7,000 in Australia (ARIA). Kanye's former studio album 'Ye' debuted at #3 in 2018 with 283,000 sales.

 

New entry at #2 for Korean boy group NU’EST's 7th EP 'The Table'. The Album sold 172,000 sales globally in its 1st week with 169,000 of it coming from South Korea alone according to Hanteo. 

 

French Legendary Singer Johnny Hallyday who passed away in December 2017, has debuted at #3 on the Global Album chart after debuting at #1 in France! Last year his posthumous released album 'Mon Pays C'est L'amour' scored the biggest debut of the year with massive first week sales of 805,000 atop the Global Chart. This week his second posthumous album, the symphonic set 'Johnny' debuts at #3 with huge sales for a french Artist of 162,000, 150,000 of it from France alone (according to SNEP) and the biggest debut in the country so far!

 

New entry at #4 on the global Album chart for new K-Pop Superstars TXT and their Album 'The Dream Chapter: Magic' which debuted at #1 on the Worldwide iTunes Album chart and Gaon Album chart in Korea!

 

Former #1, Post Malone's 'Hollywood's Bleeding' slips 3 - 5 after selling another 125.000 equivalent units and 1.967.000 copies so far!

 

British Singer/songwriter Alexander O'Connor, better known as Rex Orange County, debuts at #6 on the Global chart with his brand new Album 'Pony' and equivalent sales of 96.000.

 

New entry at #7 for WANIMA's 'Cominatcha' with equivalent sales of 79.000 in its first week while Summer Walker's 'Over It' dips 6 - 8 after selling another 71.000 and 403.000 so far.


YoungBoy Never Broke Again’s 'AI YoungBoy 2' dips 5 - 9 after selling another 67.000 equivalent units and 266.000 so far while Ed Sheeran's 'No.6 Collaborations Project' dips 7 - 10 after selling another 66.000 and 2.206 million so far!
