'Smoke+Mirrors', the second album of Imagine Dragons goes straight to no.1 this week!

'Smoke+Mirrors', the second album of Las Vegas based rock band Imagine Dragons, debuts at no.1 in the World's Best-selling Albums Chart with sales of 269.000. 172.000 of those were sold in the US, 25.700 in the UK, 23.000 in Canada, 15.000 in Germany, 6.000 in France and  5.000 in Australia. Imagine Dragon's debut album 'Night Visions' is back in the Top 40 at no.34 this week with sales of 17.000. Driven by hit singles 'Radioactive', 'It's Time', and 'Demons' the first Album has sold a massive 4.317.000 copies so far!

 

Drake's 'If You're Reading This, It's Too Late' slips from the top spot to no.3, down 69% with 174.000 copies sold, and the soundtrack to the blockbuster 'Fifty Shades Of Grey' stays at no.2 for a second week with 242.000 copies sold.

 

Also new inside the Top 10 this week is German gangsta-rapper Bushido with his new release 'Carlo Cokxxx Nutten 3' at no.7 after selling 81.000 copies.Generations, a part of the J-pop collective Exile Tribe, debut at no.8 this week with their second Album 'Generation Ex' after selling 64.000 copies.


'Motion' by Calvin Harris sold 12.000 copies last week and reaches a total of 586.000 so far. 'No Fixed Address' by Nickelback sold also 12.000 units last week, 672.000 so far. 'Plus' by Ed Sheeran sold 13.000 units last week and has a total of 3.980.000 copies so far, his follow-up 'X' sold 4.884.000 copies so far, 'Ultraviolence' by Lana Del Rey 1.283.000, and 'Xscape' by Michael Jackson 1.555.000.
