No change at the summit of the Global Track Chart, where Meghan Trainor's 'All About That Bass' reigns a sixth consecutive week at no.1 with 361.000 points, followed also a sixth week by Taylor Swift's 'Shake It Off' with 289.000 points. Also unchanged at no.3 is Calvin Harris feat. John Newman's 'Blame' with 215.000 points. Similar to the album list, Ed Sheeran makes also a big jump on the track tally, where his 'Thinking Out Loud' rockets from no.17 to no.6, after a 26% points boost to 152.000. It's Ed's second Top 10 smash after 'Sing' reached no.3 in June this year. Another single of him, 'Don't', is currently at no.13 with 136.000 points. With only a few hundred points fewer, 'Blank Space', another lift-off from Taylor Swift's mega-seller '1989', bows behind at no.14 and is the highest debut on this week's Top 40 list. Another two songs arrive the tally for the first time: 'I Bet My Life' by Imagine Dragons goes to no.35 with 73.000 points and 'Geronimo', the first success for the Australian indie-pop band Sheppard, climbs to no.38 with 70.000 points. Outside the Top 40 waiting among other Taylor Swift's 'Style' at no.46, Dream5 feat. Buri Taicho's 'Dan Dan Dubi Zuba!' at no.48, Calvin Harris feat. Ellie Goulding's 'Outside' at no.53, Nicki Minaj feat. Drake, Lil Wayne & Chris Brown's 'Only' at no.55 and Nick Jonas' 'Jealous' at no.56 for their first appearance on the big list

Better than all expectations, Taylor Swift's new album '1989' exploded atop the Global Album Chart with stellar sales, in its first week at retail the set moved massive 1.681.000 copies. That's nearly the same than all other albums in the current Top 40 sold together (1.718.000 copies)! The enormous success is driven by huge sales from the USA (1.286.500 copies), Canada (107.000), United Kingdom (90.300), Japan (52.300), and Australia (43.400). That are the biggest weekly sales on the Global Album Chart since Lady GaGa's 'Born This Way' effort started with 1.921.000 copies in the week 23, 2011! By the way, Taylor Swift's former album 'Red' arrived also easily atop the chart with 1.459.000 units two years ago in the week 45. The one week sales of '1989' are enough for a big jumps straight ahead at no.8 on the year-to-date chart. Back to this week's hitlist, there's a little surprise at no.2, British singer / songwriter Ed Sheeran rises six slots and turns back to the vice-position with 97.000 sales in its 19th week on the tally. Last week's chart-topper, Arashi's 'The Digitalian' throws down at no.10, after a 91% sales implosion to 57.000 copies. The re-released Led Zeppelin albums 'IV' and 'Houses Of The Holy' celebrate a comeback on the hitlists, with a jump at no.3 (92.000 copies), respectively no.6 (71.000 copies). Some additional sales stats: the self-titled debut by 5 Second Of Summer sold 15.000 copies last week and reaches a total of 1.107.000 so far, 'Bad Blood' by Bastille sold 6.000 units last week, 1.828.000 so far, 'Native' by OneRepublic sold 17.000 units last week and has a tota of 1.659.000 units so far, 'Racine Carrée' by Stromae sold 2.562.000 copies so far, 'Xscape' by Michael Jackson 1.489.000, and 'My Everything' by Ariana Grande 752.000.

Meghan Trainor's 'All About That Bass' is no.1 for a sixth consecutive week in the world charts. The song debuted on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart on July 26, 2014, at number 84. For the week of August 16, 2014, the song rose from number 28 to 8. The following week, the song rose from no. 8 to 4. For the week of August 30, 2014, the song rose from number 4 to number 2, just behind MAGIC!s hit song "Rude". The following week, however, despite gaining 28 percent in overall sales, the song fell back to no.3, due to the debut and chart leap of Taylor Swift and Nicki Minaj respectively.  For the September 20, 2014 chart, the song finally made it to the top, marking Trainor's first number-one single in the United States, while displacing Swift to number 2. As of October 29, 2014, it has sold 3,195,000 copies in the US and has been certified 4× Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). The song lead the Billboard Hot 100 for eight straight weeks.

This song has topped the charts in Australia, Austria, Canada, Denmark, Germany, Ireland and New Zealand and reached the top 40 in other countries such as Norway, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland. In the United Kingdom, the Official Charts Company confirmed that "All About That Bass" had become the first song in British chart history to enter the UK top 40 based on streams alone, a week ahead of the single's full sales release. The song climbed to the summit of the UK Singles chart on October 5, 2014 and stayed at no.1 for four consecutive weeks.

1989 debuts at no.1 in the World's Best Singles chart after the Album selling an astonishing 1.681.000 in its first week (1.287 of those in the US alone), making it the biggest selling LP of the decade in its !st week in America and Taylor's third album to sell more than a million copies in its first week, making her the first artist to have three albums go platinum on their debut.
