BTS' "Dynamite" rebounds To #1 on the United World Chart for a 6th week!

BTS’ "Dynamite" returns to #1 on the United World Chart for a 6th nonconsecutive week! It is also back #1 atop the Billboard Global 200 and the Billboard Global Excl.! "Dynamite" surpassed Taylor Swift's "Cardigan" (7.742 million streams) with 7.778 million first-day streams on the global Spotify chart, the biggest global song debut of 2020! #BTS is the 1st Act to to score 8 weeks atop the Digital Song Sales chart in the US with their smash hit "Dynamite" after moving another 44,000 downloads the week ending October 15 according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data! BLACKPINK's 'The Album' tops the United World Album Chart with massive sales of 698,000 globally, 617,000 of which is from Korea! 'THE ALBUM' has sold a total of 875,000 equivalent units so far! Released on October 2, via YG Entertainment and Interscope, 'THE ALBUM' debuted at #2 in the US on the Billboard 200 after selling 110,000 equivalent units including 81.000 pure sales, becoming the highest-charting Korean Female Album and the highest charting Album by an all-Female Group in over a decade since #DanityKane's 'Welcome to the Dollhouse' in 2008! American Rapper 21 Savage & Producer Metro Boomin's new album 'Savage Mode II' debuts atop the United World Chart with equivalent sales of 216.000 equivalent sales globally in its 1st week! 171.000 of those units were sold in the US and another 12.000 in Canada according to Nielsen Music/Billboard. The album is a sequel to the duo's EP 'Savage Mode' from 2016.

BLACKPINK's 'The Album' debuts at #2 on the United World Chart after selling 177.000 equivalent units but will certainly be #1 next week when the huge sales in South Korea are added to the tally. In South Korea the album debuted with 617.000 equivalent units according to Hanteo!
