KPop Superstar Group TWICE's 'MORE & MORE' Tops The Global Album Chart!

TWICE's “MORE & MORE” has gone to #1 on the Global Album Chart after selling 352.000 units in its first week, 324,000 of which was from the band's native country of Korea alone according to Hanteo, and another 20,000 from Japan, according to Oricon. Released by JYP Entertainment and Republic Records on June 1, 2020, 'MORE & MORE' debuted at #2 atop the Worlwide iTunes Album chart after going to #1 on iTunes in 30 countries! In Korea the Album sold over 260,000 copies on Hanteo in in its first 24 hours, and TWICE broke the record for the highest first-day sales for a KPop girl group ever! They also became the first Korean girl group to surpass 200,000 albums sold on the first day of release! It is not only Twice's best-selling album to date, but also the best-selling girl group album in South Korea since S.E.S's album 'A Letter from Greenland' in 2000. The EP also debuted atop the Oricon Albums Chart and at #3 on Billboard Japan's Hot Albums chart. It also debuted at number 25 on the UK Album Downloads Chart, making it their highest entry and 2nd overall. The EP also entered at number 200 on the Billboard 200, making Twice the 4th South Korean girl group to break into the chart, after Girls’ Generation, 2NE1 and BLACKPINK!

Lady Gaga’s 'Chromatica' holds at #2 after selling another 156.000 equivalent units and a total of 643.000 so far!

Former #1, The Weeknd’s After Hours', sells another 74.000 units and 1,77 million so far! 'After Hours' is now no.3 on the year-to.date list, behind Billie Eilish's 'When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?' which has sold a total of 1,85 million units so far in 2020 and the Bangtan Boys' 'Map Of The Soul: 7' which has sold 5,72 million units so far!

Lil Baby’s 'My Turn' rebounds 9 - 4 in its 11th week after selling another 67.000 units and 1.166 million so far. The Album debuted at #2 on the global Album Chart on March 14.

NCT Dream's 'Reload EP' reenters the Global Top 10 at #5 this week after selling another 64.000 units and after debuting at #1 on the May 16th Global Chart! The album has so far sold 583.000 equivalent units since its release!

New entry at #6 for Viction's 'Mayday' selling 62.000 units in its first week, while Drake's 'Dark Lane Demo Tapes lifts 10-7 after selling another 61.000 units and 742.000 so far! The Album debuted at #2 on the Global Album Chart on May 16.

Former chart topper, Dua Lipa, reenters the Global Top 10 at #8 after selling another 58,000 units and 2.235.000 so far while former chart topper Harty Styles reenters the top 10 at #9 selling another 58.000 units and 2.235 million so far while Post Malone's 'Hollywood's Bleeding' closes this week's Top 10 selling another 57.000 units this week and a total of 4.470 million so far!

The Weeknd's "Blinding Lights" scores a 17th week atop the Global Track Chart with just 2 weeks to go before tying for the All Time Record of 19 weeks at #1 held by Bryan Adams' "Everything I Do I Do It For You" in 1991 and Pharrell Williams' "Happy" in 2014! "Blinding Lights" is the #1 top selling song of 2020 so far! Released on November 29, 2019, "Blinding Lights" didn't reach #1 in the US till March 30, 2020, then held for 4 weeks atop the hot 100, becoming The Weeknd's third multi-week leader! "Blinding LIghts" also became The Weeknd's fifth number one single on the Canadian Hot 100 and held atop the chart for 7 weeks! In the UK, "Blinding Lights" topped the official chart in February 2020, becoming The Weeknd's first number-one single, holding for 8 non consecutive weeks! It also became his first number one single in Germany where it held atop the official chart for ten whole weeks! In Australia, it topped the ARIA Charts for eleven non-consecutive weeks and is the sixth longest-running number-one of all-time in the country! In New Zealand, it topped the singles chart for four non-consecutive weeks. In Latin America, "Blinding Lights" topped the charts in Mexico.

Elsewhere in Europe, the song topped the weekly charts in Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Scotland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, and Switzerland. It also reached a position of number 2 in Lebanon, Malaysia, Russia, number 5 in Bolivia and Ukraine, number 6 in Chile, number 7 in El Salvador & Romania, number 9 in Panama and number 16 in Spain.

DaBabys "Rockstar" ft. Roddy Ricch lifts 3-2, reaching a new peak, while Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande's "Rain On Me" dips 2-3 on the Global Track Chart after scoring the biggest debut of the year, ending the Weeknd's straight run at #1 after 15 weeks. "Rain On Me", released on May 22, is GaGa's 7th global No.1 hit and Grande's 5th.

SAINt JHN's "Roses" remixed by Imanbek holds at 4, Doja Cat's "Say So" ft. Nicki Mina jholds at #5, Dua Lipa's "Don't Start Now" lifts 7-6 and Drake's "Toosie Slide" dips 6-7.

Powfu's "Death Bed" ft. beabadoobee holds at 8, while former chart topper, Tones And I's "Dance Monkey" stays at 9 in its 42nd week and Dua Lipa's "Break My Heart" lifts 11-10!

Lady Gaga debuts at #2 on the Global Album Chart with her 6th album ‘Chromatica', after shifting 487,000 equivalent units in one week, 274,000 of which came from the US (Billboard), 28,000 from Canada (Billboard), 53,000 from the UK (OCC), 22,000 from France (SNEP), 12,000 from Japan (Oricon), and 10,000 from Australia (ARIA)! Lady GaGa's last album 'Joanne' debuted atop the Global Chart in 2016 with 314,000 sales and her OST 'A Star Is Born' debuted at no.1 in October 2018 with 348,000 sales, and has sold 5.9 million so far!

Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande's "Rain On Me" tops this week's Global Track Chart!

Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande's "Rain On Me" goes straight to No. 1 on the Global Track Chart ending the 15-week reign of the Weeknd's "Blinding Lights"! "Rain On Me", released on May 22, is GaGa's 7th global No.1 hit and Grande's 5th. It's the 18th global Top 10 success for Lady GaGa and 14th for Ariana. The song is the 2nd single off GaGa's 6th studio album 'Chromatica' and has so far hit #1 on the official weekly charts in America, Canada, Gt. Britain, Hungary, Ireland, Scotland, and Singapore!

The Weeknd's "Blinding Lights" slips 1-2 after an incredible 15 week reign atop the Global Track Chart. "Blinding Lights" is the best-selling song of 2020 so far!

Saint JHN's "Roses" remixed by Imanbek dips 2-3 this week, while DaBaby's "Rockstar" ft. Roddy Ricch holds at #4.
