Kang Daniel's 'CYAN' is the World's Best-selling Album Of The Week with equivalent units of 260,000!

Kang Daniel's new EP 'CYAN' is the World's best-selling Album Of The Week and has debuted at #1 on the Global Album chart. Kang Daniel's 'CYAN' sold equivalent sales of 260.000 in its 1st week! Its the highest cumulative first-week sales in 2020 by a Solo Artist in Korea. The Album scored a triple crown in its home country, topping the Gaon Album, Download, and BGM weekly charts!

Australian pop/rock Group 5 Seconds Of Summer lands at #2 on the global chart with their fourth studio album 'Calm' and sales of 212.000. The album debuted at #1 in the UK and Australia and should have hit #1 on the Billboard 200, but due to 10,000 copies of the new album being shipped earlier in the U.S. due to a warehouse error, 'CALM' landed at No. 2 in America! 'CALM' is an acronym of the first letters of the band members' names, Calum, Ashton, Luke and Michael.

Last week's chart topper, 'After Hours’ by The Weeknd, dips 1-3 after selling another 209.000 sales and a total of 804.000 so far!

New entry at #4 for Japanese Group Kis-My-F2’s new album 'To-Y2' after selling 191.000 equivalent sales in its first week, while Dua Lipa's brand new album 'Future Nostalgia' lands at No. 5 with sales of 156.000.

Pearl Jam's brand new 'Gigaton' debuts at No. 6 with first week sales of 121.000 while Lil Uzi Vert’s's 'Eternal Atake' dips 3-7 after selling another 102.000 units and 898.000 so far.

New entry at No. 8 for PARTYNEXTDOOR's 'Partymobile' with first week sales of 74.000 while BTS's 'Map Of The Soul: 7' reenters the global top 10 Rank at No. 9 after selling another 70.000 this week and 5.551.000 units so far, making it by far the best-selling album of 2020!

Closing this week's global top 10 is NCT 127's 'Neo Zone' after selling another 65.000 units and 561.000 so far!

The Weeknd's 4th Studio Album 'After Hours' Debuts Atop The Global Album Chart with 595,000 Equivalent Sales Units!

The Weeknd's 4th Studio Album 'After Hours' has landed at #1 on the Global Album Chart with 595,000 equivalent sales units including 444,000 in the US, the biggest first week sales in the US in 2020, and 54,000 in Canada according to Nielsen Music / Billboard. In the UK the album sold 26,000 in its 1st week according to the official charts! The Album has also peaked at #1 in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Sweden and Switzerland. 'After Hours' was released by XO and Republic Records on March 20, 2020. It is The Weeknd's first studio album since 'Starboy' in 2016, and follows the 2018 EP 'My Dear Melancholy'. 'After Hours' is dedicated to a fan, who passed away shortly before the album's release. NCT 127’s 'NCT#127: Neo Zone' also holds tight at no.3 on the global chart after selling another 122.000 sales and 411.000 so far!

The highest debut of the week is 'Heartbreak Weather', the second studio album by ex-One Direction heartthrob Niall Horan. The album debuts at no.4 globally with 113.000 equivalent sales units, 59.000 of those coming from the United States according to Billboard / Nielsen Music and and 14.000 from the United Kingdom according to the Official charts.
