Lil Uzi Vert tops this week's Global Album Chart with his sophomore set 'Eternal Atake' and 353,000 equivalent sales sold globally including 288,000 from the US, 20,000 from Canada as per Billboard / Nielsen Music and 11,000 from the UK. 'Eternal Atake' ends BTS's two-week reign atop the Global Chart. BTS has scored a 2nd week atop the Global Album Chart with their amazing multi million seller 'Map Of The Soul: 7' which has now sold in excess of 5 million units! Last week BTS debuted at #1 on the Global Album Chart after becoming the first Asian group to top the album charts in the top five global music markets including the US, the UK, Japan, Germany, and France! The Album also debuted at #1 in Australia, Austria, Belgium (Flanders), Canada, Estonia, Hungary, Ireland, Lithuania, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Poland, Scotland, South Korea, Spain and Switzerland. This week the Album is still ranking high on the weekly sales charts internationally. In the US, 'Map Of The Soul:7' is #3 on the Billboard 200 while in the UK, the album is #14 on the Official chart. The Album is #4 on the Oricon chart in Japan and on the official chart in Germany. 'Map Of The Soul: 7' also sits at #14 on the Official Irish Irma chart, and in Belgium the album is #5 in Flanders and #7 in Wallonia. In the Netherlands, “Map of the Soul: 7” is #11 on the Dutch Top 100 Album chart!

 

'Map of the Soul: 7' debuted atop the US Billboard 200 with 422,000 album-equivalent units, including 347,000 pure sales. It is BTS's 4th US number-one album, making them the fastest band since the Beatles to have 4 number one albums in less than 2 years. It is also the highest opening for an album in 2020 so far, and the highest first-week sales of BTS's albums in the US to date! The album's lead single, "On" debuted at #4 on the Billboard Hot 100 with 86,000 downloads and 18.3 million U.S. streams, marking BTS's biggest sales week for a song. It's the group's highest charting single on the chart and their 1st top 5, following "Boy With Luv" ft. Halsey which peaked at #8 and "Fake Love" which peaked at #10, making BTS the Korean Act with the most Top Ten hits on the Hot 100! 

 

In South Korea, the album debuted atop the Gaon Album Chart, giving BTS their 13th number one album and selling over 2.13 million copies in its 1st day and a record-breaking 3.37 million copies in its 1st week, achieving highest first week sales in Hanteo Chart history! BTS broke the record for the highest yearly and monthly album sales ever In Korea after selling over 4.1 million units of 'Map Of The Soul: 7' in just 9 days in February alone after its release on February 21st! 

 

In Japan, the album became the groups 5th number one, selling over 370,000 copies in its first week. It is now the best-selling album in Japan so far In 2020 with sales of 398.148! The album is also #1 on the Oricon Monthly Chart for the month of February 2020.
